Search Functionality among proposed new features
on Jul 27 in Functionality tagged by Paul
The release for version 2.1 of SiteTagger has now been agreed and is well into delivery. One of the features we’ve decided to implement this time around is a search facility to help users search through the large number of pages they have implemented in SiteTagger at any time. This search facility will be a further improvement on the excellent usability tweaks we’ve implemented in the last few versions, and should allow users to operate SiteTagger more efficiently than is already possible.
Details of additional functionality will be release soon.
SiteTagger provides added value
on Jul 14 in PR tagged by Paul
One of our clients has been using SiteTagger for a while now, and keeps finding new benefits of the product. Take for example a recent issue they had with figures reported from their analytics tool, which they were comparing to a bespoke system they had built themselves. The issue required some unique visitor tracking on specific pages to capture the number of quotes generated, and would need some tags to be placed in specific pages under specific conditions. The quote from their IT teams - about 3 months before the tags would be live.
Luckily enough, these pages already had SiteTagger tags on them, and so the work was completed within 5 minutes, providing them with the data required immediately after it was identified. They now have the figures to hand to prove that their internal system had been understating the quote volumes, meaning that they had been generating more business than they thought.
Not bad for a product that’s also saved them a lot in development costs too!

- Some navigation changes to help with usability
- …and a few other changes, more details of which can be provided to anyone who’s interested.
The release will be finalised and made live in the next week or so. Any existing beta clients reading should feel safe in the knowledge that your tags will be migrated over to the new version as part of this release.
